<p>SO lets say that I applied to Dartmouth RD but got rejected. If I take a gap year, improve my stats somewhat and apply again, do I stand a fair chance? Or does the "applying again" catch harm me?

<p>I believe that they keep your file for 2 years. You will pretty much Need new everything. Other than the gap year, had there been any radical changes in your app since you originally applied</p>
