<p>Would an applicant need to get updated LORs for the 2nd round of application or can the original LORs be used?</p>
<p>If you’re reapplying, especially if applying to some of the same schools, its basically expected for you to have new LORs (maybe not all, but at least some) from the activities you’ve been doing to improve your application.</p>
<p>If your rejections were a surprise, too, you might <em>want</em> to get a new set of LORs.</p>
