"Reason for Leaving"

<p>I'm filling out the Stanford application under the list of college/universities attended, and there is a "reason for leaving" area; would honesty hurt?</p>

<p>For example, one of my colleges, the honest truth about my departure was because I didn't take it seriously and partied instead. Should I state that, or list something else?</p>

<p>Also, I'm looking for some transfer app buddies to talk to/read essays with. Feel free to send me a message via AIM.</p>

<p>You may want to use phrases such as "crave a fresh start" rather than "partied too much." XD Honesty is one thing--giving too much info is another.</p>
