I'm feeling the same way. Instead of dreading the application, I'm actually looking forward to doing it!

I still dread the application, but I agree with seth, I think I have better things to say. What can I say though, doing apps seems like such a return to many years ago as a gawky HS student, haha.

I know what you mean. I felt so stupid calling the admissions office today to schedule an interview.

highberh-
i think mudd can really use someone like you... you traded the name for a different type of education that is more what you want. that is noble and i applaud you for such strength. it is tempting to get caught up in the prestige game... but in the end, college should be really really challenging and really really interesting (to you).

i think you should mention a bit of your story in your app. i think mudd would "eat it up"

but yeah, i sorta have a biased opinion here since i am a mudd sophomore (engineering).

rocketDA, thanks so much :) Yeah, I am definitely going to talk about my experience at Princeton--in fact the Mudd math profs I've met so far (visited the campus in early Feb.) have not even needed an explanation for why I would want to leave this department, they came up with their own Princeton frigid-elitist stories, haha.
