I want to know the reasons as to why AP Score are not put up online, similar to the SAT scores. Another thing I feel that should be put up online is out individual essays from our AP tests, again similar to the SAT essay. I would love to know what I actually wrote on the test, as I forget what I have written a lot of times. Can anyone tell me why or agree with me/add suggestions to this?

Yea, I agree with you. They should just post the AP scores online, like with the SATs.

However, I think one reason why we get the SAT score online and not the APs, is that with the SATs most people self-register for the test online. With the APs, a lot of the kids that take it did not register online, rather the school handles all of that stuff. Well, my school did because they required everyone who took the AP class to take the AP test. So, maybe it is harder for them to put it online since they have no sort of online screen name to match the person and their scores with. I don't know.

^ What you said is true. However, keep in mind that if scores were posted online, there wouldn't be a need for the $8 grades-by-phone service, and we all know that the College Board has taken it upon itself to waste the money of restless American teenagers.

I agree, they should be online, but even if they were, CB would still probably charge the $8 (as it does for SAT scores online early). Also, skateboard, you can order your free-response booklets/essays from CB (for like $7 apiece, I think - nothing's free anymore :(). You have to order by September or something I think, though.

Thats the problem with monopolies, they dont need to provide you excellent services, because they know you will come to them no matter what.

You can get SAT scores online early by giving them $? When did this happen (I know you could do it with the ACT, but with the SAT??)?

I think that person meant to say "ACT" because you can't get SAT scores early.

I must be crazy because I'm not sure how to go back and read my SAT essays, as someone has previously mentioned. What exactly do you mean?

And AP scores should most definitely be displayed online. Your username on the website should have a PIN # or something that you can put on AP exams so they show up online, and use your AP # as the key to show that they're really yours. Because if it were just username, then people would borrow off one another's and send scores wrong all over the place.

theyre just stupid
they want money and theyre prolly sitting in a room holding our scores and saying "call first and then we'll give it to u"
theyre so diabolical

Azure326, you're the best. I feel silly for having not been able to figure that out. :]

How can I know if my school is going to be ordering our FR booklets or not?

Most schools don't order the FR booklets. In fact, I don't think the school is even allowed to order them.

damn i didnt know you could see ur essay thanks azure

There's no point in getting the Free Response booklet unless you like to keep copies of all the tests you've ever taken. They don't have scores on them. It's just another way for college board to get your money.

Oops, sorry about that, I did mean ACT. I've payed so much in test money I can't keep track anymore.

Rockermcr, my school ordered the Free-Response Booklets; I received my booklet for AP Lang for free.
