Rec dilemna

I've asked two of my teachers for recs so far, one APUSH teacher who knows me well and one English teacher who writes really good recs. However, I've started doubting my choices because I'm planning to major in Biology/Biochem. I could ask my AP Bio teacher from last year, but I'm not sure if she likes me which was the reason why I didn't approach her from the beginning.

So my question is, How bad is it if I don't have a recommendation letter from a science or math teacher when I'm majoring in a science?

Some schools require a science/math teacher rec.

As I understand, recommendation should be done by those teachers who really know you. I haven’t yet found colleges(on my list) which demand Recc. from specific teachers. This year I have got 2 English Teachers of mine for recommendation because they were very close to me during school period. Also, you high-school transcripts will show your proficiency in your chosen major. So, it really doesn’t matter…
