One of my teachers will be submitting my letter of recommendation online for all of my common app schools, but my other teacher will only do paper copies. Under the "School Forms" section of the common app, some of the schools require 2 teacher letter of recs. Is it okay that I only invite one to send her rec through that, and then just submit the other letter as a paper copy? And for the schools that only require 1 teacher rec, is it okay to submit the second letter as a paper copy to the school?

Put in both teachers. The paper teacher will respond as off-line only (and will show as such on your status for that school). That will cue the school to expect a mailed LOR from that teacher.

Okay, awesome! I had no idea how it would work in that situation, thank you so much.

Hey i’m in a similar situation. The teacher who is sending by mail has her status as “not started” even though I invited her via common app. Is this normal?

If the teacher is going to mail the recommendation, then likely they will not update the common app status (think of them as technically challenged, and don’t expect them to do anything technical, like update the status on the common app).
