Rec Letters and Tulane Chances

I submitted my app for Tulane two weeks ago along with an art supplement. I was wondering whether or not I should supply a peer recommendation (already prepared for Dartmouth). In addition, would I consider Tulane to be a match in my college plans (Because I feel like I am applying to tons of reach schools)?
GPA: 3.88 ACT: 33 (36 E, 32 M, 33 R, 30 S, 32 E/W)
Other schools applied to: Beaux-Art Paris, Berkeley, Harvard, Stanford, Yale… and some state public schools

No, don’t send it.
The main thing that can get in the way of you getting into Tulane with those stats is if your app makes them think that you’re using them as a backup for ivies and aren’t actually likely to go there if admitted. With that in mind, and given that they’re probably aware that a peer rec is a component of Dartmouth’s application, by sending one you’re basically waving it in their face that you’re applying to an ivy and are throwing together components to send to them as a backup plan. An extra rec probably won’t help your application anyway unless it’s incredibly impressive, you should have a good chance regardless as long as you show them that they’re a priority. Good luck!

@nac7890 Alrighty then, thank you  I don’t want to give them any bad impressions for sure.
