Rec Letters Help!

So I'm a rising senior in a bit of a predicament. I've heard it's advisable to have a letter from both a humanities teacher and a math/science teacher when applying to top schools. I definitely want a letter from my AP Physics teacher, who likes me and is known for writing stellar recs. As for the second letter, I can get a pretty solid (but nothing amazing) rec from an English teacher, or I can get a letter from an AP Chem teacher who literally thinks I'm a genius. I don't do poorly in humanities subjects by any means, I am just much more interested in math and science and thus participate more in class. Is it worth the trade off to not submit a humanities letter in order to have a more impressive rec from another science teacher? I plan on applying as a physics major to Cornell ED as my top choice btw.

If the rest of my resume helps answer this feel free to check out my chance thread:

Ask for all 3. In those schools that let you send 3, then you can send the extra rec. In general, schools like to see you are a rounded person so a rec in each area but it also depends on your major. If you are a chem or chem engineering major, then the 2 sciences might be fine.
