Rec Letters

I will be applying to colleges in the fall, but since I'm home schooled and the only academic teachers I have are from my dual-enrolled CC classes, I asked for my recommendation letters now. I didn't want my professors to forget me, and I have the letters now. When it comes time to send them, I'm planning to go bak in with the letters (and possibly tests/papers) and ask if they can send the letter in or fill out the forms specific schools ask for. Does this sound like an OK plan of action? Also, should I give them thank-you letters now or once everything's said and done?

Thanks. :)

Sorry I don’t really have much advice to give you on this because I’m a rising senior myself, but I would like to put in there that you should probably thank them both times, since they are professors and are going to be very busy. and it never hurts to thank an educator! good luck on finding out about your recs, and I would do that if I were you, but like I said before I have no authority on this matter!

Thanks!! I am leaning towards just dropping off some notes when I’m on campus Tuesday. Anyone else?

Bump…

Does anyone have experience leaving a note for professors? Can I ask the secretary at the desk in their department just to drop it off in their mailbox?

Sorry if this is obtuse. I tend to get anxious about these things.
