Would a great recomendation from a Yale political science professor do a lot in the RD admission process, my hook is law. Could it make up for a 3.65 GPA?

It will help if it is a good, personal letter that tells the adcom something new about you. The Yale professor part won't matter that much.

With any elite college, a letter from God probably wouldn't even impress them enough to make them admit you. If this professor's recommendation will, as newt said, reveal something great about you to the admissions committee, then, by all means, send it. If, however, you don't have a very close relationship with this professor, and he writes something bland, then Yale will likely look at you as someone trying to impress them, and you probably won't receive good news in April.

Oh my Vivaldi! What a good idea!!! A rec from GOD! Why didn't I think of that??????!

But if God's too busy, you think it'd be ok if Jesus wrote it?

Jesus writes bad recs from what I hear. He uses the word "sin" too much.

Ohhhh, i see. Maybe I'll just go with Muhammad - what are his recs like?
