<p>If you're applying to a social studies-area major (poli sci to be exact) do you think UChicago will still require the rec. from a sci/math teacher?</p>

<p>In my case, I have one from a AP US teacher and a AP English teacher, but not math ATM. I could get a math one by Jan. 15th-ish if needed, though.</p>

<p>Yep, that's what they ask for -- one has to be math/science, regardless of intended major.</p>
