<p>Very quick question but i would like to know if UCF recalculates GPA's for admission purposes? Should they, do they count all social studies or just the required? For example psychology. Its not a mandatory course in my high school but it is still considered a social studies class by our school but it's not a core.</p>
<p>Yeah they recalculate it to their own GPA (I don’t exactly remember what they use, but for honors classes they add .5 so if you got a 90 in biology it would be counted as a 4.5, for AP classes they add 1). And I think psychology would be counted as an academic elective (which they add into their calculated GPA) so it would be used.</p>
