I know Stanford and a number of other colleges recalculate GPA, including only sophmore and junior year grades. Does Princeton (or any other top schools for that matter) do that?

Yes. Almost every single school does.

Almost every school recalculated GPA dropping 9th year grades?

Some schools, including Princeton, drop freshman grades completely. Most schools look at them, but don't weigh them as heavily.

do they also caculate the first smemester of senior year grades? Does Dartmouth only calculate soph and junior year?

Yes I believe Princeton calculates senior year grades in. Although they have started asking for freshman year grades (to be consistent with common app) they don't calculate that into the GPA.

do you guys know any other schools that do that besides stanford and princeton? maybe u penn? cuz my freshman year grade really sux, thx
