<p>I am ending my Junior year and I was set on asking my Honors Pre-calculus teacher for a recommendation in my senior year. She has decided to leave and work at a new school next year. She was a great teacher and really saw a side of me that most teachers don't. I also took the time to help her tutor when her geometry students needed help too. Am I still able to ask her for a recommendation?</p>
<p>I would ask her for a recommendation and have the guidance office keep it on file for you. The other thing you could do is ask her if you could contact her later (hurray for e-mail), but I think getting the letter now while you are still fresh in her memory and she is not too distracted with whatever she is doing next fall is the better option.</p>
