Hi, I'm an upcoming senior in high school and need some ideas about which colleges to apply to.

I am:
Texan, white, male

6th out of 225ish,
4.0 gpa

2800 sat,
690 reading
700 math
690 writing
(no ACT)

I'm a varsity athelete in football and baseball, participate in FCA, church groups, and NHS. I also go on mission trips regularly.

I am involved in a high school rocketry/engineering program that is nationally recognized for producing quality engineers and I am interested in doing some type of engineering and maybe geosciences.

I will probably go to Texas A&M and am considering Colorado school of mines, but I would like to expand my view a little

help please?

With a 2800 SAT score, you should expect to get accepted anywhere you apply. Idk anyone else with that score. You should apply everywhere!!

My bad I meant to type 2080

If your any good at football/baseball you should try getting recruited. If you apply unhooked, your still match though.

Texas A & M has an awesome Environmental Science program, as I’m sure you know. Your SAT scores are above the 75th percentile for that school, so you will have no trouble getting in.

You should consider U of Colorado and Utah as well for their enviro science programs. U Colorado may be a reach, but you can always try. Utah would be no problem.

If you want to go far away, consider the University of Buffalo for their engineering program. The school is huge, and Buffalo is a great city. The weather might be a little cold for you, though.

It’s hard to give you recs without knowing your financial situation, or what you want in a college besides specific majors.
