Receive email acceptance?

Hi, I received an email today stating that you can check your status online. I did and I'm in! Anyone else and stats.

Mine: 1550 (800 math; 750 verbal) 3.9gpa

I just got my email a minute ago!!! I'm so excited!!! :D By the way, I have a 3.94 GPA, 31 ACT, and 1380 SAT

YES!!!!! :D

i got in, too. My scores are: 1330 SAT, 30 ACT, 3.97 UW GPA

im in too!

SAT 1500, ACT 34, GPA 4.0

I wasnt sure if pre-professional applicants would only be notified of admission (to Case, not the pre-professional program) by march, but i guess they are
yay!

darn they said to check ur app status online and they send you the email...

my email just says "you have everything in..." etc etc...

i guess i'll have to just wait for the paper mail.

Same here kitman15, I did it through the CommonApp, so I can't view their status like that. Sad! :( But, congrats to you 4. :D. Plus, looking at your stats, I'm getting worried sigh lol...

Oh snap! lol, nevermind, I did that status check, and the email said: "Congratulations! You have been admitted to Case Western Reserve University. Please look for your official letter of admission in the mail."! Sweet! :D My stats suck compared to yours :-\ 1210; 3.79gpa.

Way to go jediknight! That's great!!! :D

did you guys apply EA, or Regular?

EA for me, well I think everyone, because RD letters are sent out in mid-march, I think.

Happy to report that my son got the email yesterday and it was a "yes". (He's at a residential high school away from home so I had to call him and say "check your email!") Stats, etc.: EA, 1280 SAT, 31 ACT, 3.89 GPA UW. His stats are lower than some of yours...but perhaps they looked at his courseload? (very heavy). BTW, he did apply common app. Anyway, we are really happy and now have to wait and see what financial aid/scholarships look like.

Congratulations to everyone! That's awesome. :)

By the way, buckwald, I applied EA.

So, all you accepted people, definately going to case?

i'm scared... still no decision for me...

Good luck kitman, I'm sure you'll get in.

jediknight, I'm definately going there if I can afford it. $ will be a big factor, but if I had my choice I would go to Case. By the way, I received something (not my letter) from Case in my mail Saturday. In the brochure it said that in "nearly all cases" students will be notified of any merit-based scholarships they have received in their ACCEPTANCE LETTERS!!!! Now I'm nervous about getting my acceptance letter! :O

My son received email saying he is in. 1420 SAT, good grades. did not get letter yet.

And congrats to you all

Chelsea, I feel the same way. I'm sure you'll get some form of merit-based scholarship; your stats look good. Do you know how much financial aid Case usually covers? As in, does it match the need 100% or...

I'm not sure about the actual percentage, but Case said that 92% of their students got financial aid and the average package was ~ $23,000. The average income of those receiving financial aid is $99,000. Those stats are pretty good, and from what I've heard they do a pretty good job making sure people can afford it. They're the #1 provider of financial aid out of all private schools in Ohio!! Hopefully, these stats will work for me! :)

Son got in, athough it is not his first choice, it will depend on $$$. If $$$ looks good, he'll probably try to do an overnight. I wonder if they have any kind of accepted students' orientation?
