Received a 'D' admitted to ucm, ucsc, ucsb

I'm a psych major and I received a 'D' in pre-cal. UCM has agreed to take me so long as I complete the missing 4 units. I have a full ride, and plan on attending, but I turned in my SIRs for the other two schools.
What should I do? If I hold off on reporting the grade will it give me more time to appeal. I went to ucsc admissions dept. and all they could tell me was that it isn't looking too good. (Both ucsc and ucsb are probably going to close the spring semester to applicants.)

I'm grateful that my chances aren't shot to hell bc ucm will take me, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. UCSC was my dream and ucsb has amazing research.

I'm repeating the classes over the summer. Should I wait until july 15th to notify them? Then turn in my summer school appeal. Summer school gets out on july 29th. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

p.s. I had a hard year. My sis passed in September. I wrote about it in my personal statement. PLUS I was taking 21 units plus a part time starbucks job. :(

sorry I received a ‘NP’ in pre-cal and a ‘D’ in phil 13. I found out I DIDN’T NEED PHIL 13 because I took eng 1B. I HATE the counselors at my CC! I was told I needed it.
