Received a "D" for first Semester

Hi everybody,

I got accepted to a number of UC's (Davis, Merced, Santa Cruz), but I received a D for my AP Chemistry class for the first semester. I'm wondering if this will greatly affect my admissions and whether or not they would revoke my admission. I've taken Honors Chemistry last year (junior) and passed with a B, and I am also taking Honors Physics this year meaning AP Chemistry is not my dominant science class.

I know I need to contact each of the individual UC's that I've applied to, but I have no idea how. Should I call each of the individual UC's or send them an email? I also have no idea which of their emails to send it to. Thanks in advance.

Who says you have to contact the schools? They will get a copy of your midyear transcript and they will contact you, if they need/want to. Ask someone at your school how to proceeed.....but I wouldn't be pointing out this bad grade to them, that's certainly overkill. I am sure this is not the only bad grade they are going to see from those that they have accepted.
