<p>wow, it seems like every this university has received the most applications this year.</p>

<p>Cudnt they increase the seats at their collleges and capacity commensurate tothe applicant rise.......</p>

<p>or else one day it wud like freggin impossibe for anyone to get in...</p>

<p>Smart Mind, part of the quality of these schools is the amount of resources they have per student. Allowing more students in would lower that and the quality of the school. Plus additional students need to be housed, educated, fed, you need resources and facilities for all these students.</p>

<p>Hopkins sent me a small blue postcard about a month ago saying they received my app. Haven't heard anything since, though.</p>

<p>What are you expecting to hear? The postcard confirms your application was received. The next thing you will hear is your admissions decision - and those will all be released the last week in March.</p>

<p>I was referring to missing materials and such. I don't really expect to hear anything about that until early next week, though.</p>

<p>You will only hear if materials are missing - if not your application is complete.</p>
