<p>I recently received an award from a local newspaper and helped my school win 2nd place in a state-wide tournament for fencing. I want to tell my colleges about these awards but I already submitted my app. How should I contact my colleges so they consider these awards?</p>
<p>Find out who the admissions rep is for your area and contact that person. Sometimes all you need to do is send an email with the supporting info attached to it. My D did this a few times and always got a positive response back from the rep to confirm receipt and to let her know they added the additional info to the file.</p>
