<p>I know this is a rather “noobish” question, but:</p>

<p>Does Brown need the applications/recommnedations by November 1st (as in you mail it by November 1st) or do they need to have it in their office by November 1st (meaning I should mail it around…october 25th)?</p>

<p>When in doubt, look at what the college itself says. It says "postmarked."</p>
