I went to Penn’s site (“Decisions” under Undergraduate Admissions) and I clicked on “Need your login and password?”

I typed in my e-mail, and then it sent me my login ID and password. o_0

But then I logged-in and I got this message:

“No online decision information is available for you yet. We will notify you via postal mail and/or email when your decision is ready. Meanwhile, you can continue to explore our website to learn more about Penn. Also, the following upcoming admissions events may be of interest: (insert links to schedules of Information Sessions and Campus Tours). Thank you for your interest in the University of Pennsylvania.”

Does anybody else have a login ID and password? Is anyone else getting this message?

EDIT: (BTW I sent a paper application, not an online one.)

I sent my stuff in October 13th (RD). I haven't gotten anything, but they cashed my check on Nov. 1st, and I called the lady and she said that 1. they spelled my name wrong, lol! and 2. I should get word in a couple of weeks!

But come on! How do u confuse a P with a D? LOL

Ok,
I am not freaked out that I have received nothing back. I did apply ED on a paper app. I got a postcard that they had everything AND I have already had a alumni interview. She told me to expect a "fat" envelope in December. Do the alums know something or do you think she was being nice (or evil?).

I hate to burst your bubble, but I know someone who had an alumni interview with Brown (she applied ED)...the interviewer basically said that she was as good as in. She was deferred and then rejected.

I didn't see your stats (maybe you are a shoo-in), but the interviewers are not close to the final say in admissions.

Yeah, I talked with a Penn student when I visited.
He said his friend's interviewer told him that he was "sure to get in." Turns out he was rejected.

Maybe some of the alumni inteviewers are basing this on the standards from years ago(not even that many years ago). They may have no idea what it takes to get accepted today.
