Received - still progressing Financial Aid

Interesting theory. I checked my portal and have “received and satisfied” listed as the status for all of my documents; I also received a likely letter. Maybe you’re right?

Don’t forget that the site says “If you have recently submitted any of the remaining outstanding requirements please allow at least one week for processing.” They get a ton of applicants and financial aid forms. It is totally feasible they are still processing.

I also submitted my CSS after the deadline…so that may have something to do with it.

My idocs were received as of two weeks ago, so maybe it just takes them time…who knows?
Also I either submitted it right on the deadline or a day after. But I’ve accepted that I’m getting denied. Welp, it’s either GTech or Vandy for me. At least now this choice won’t be any harder than it is already.

I hope you you are right, my css profile is received and satisfied so…

in the middle of the night I got yet another automated FA reminder!

I’ve got about 7 reminders over the last two months and on march 14th my status changed to received and satisfied. I am a deferred ed applicant so I’m not too hopeful. I’ll post my results here anyway.

satisfied… fingers crossed.

rejected- had review in progress for all idol stuff.

rejected also and had review in progress for a lot

Accepted!!! Literally crying right now oh my god. 10 financialaid emails, and satisfied fo reverything

Waitlist half satisfied, half review in progress so I guess that kind of fits

ACCEPTED!!! I got so many financial aid emails and everything changed to satisfied!!! I’m crying!!! AHHHHHHH

Accepted after deferral!!! So excited. Got about 9 automated emails because my parents can’t file until April due to not having some tax documents, and (to throw a wrench in the theory) my CCS and FAFSA were satisfied, but my other things were waived, except the student form which still says required (got automated email this am).

Waitlisted! OMG! I am so happy! I never received any financial aid email and half of my documents were satisfied! I am so positive that everything is going to turn out great! This is such a huge milestone for me! Congrats to those who were accepted! :’) :D

ACCEPTED 7 fin aid generic emails and received and satisfied as of March 14 deferred ed so so so surprised

No documents satisfied (except FAFSA and CSS), and rejected. I’m okay though, I got into my first two choices (Yale and Columbia).

^Same here, and got rejected from Dart

I guess this theory really is true

Got 6 financial aid reminder emails, a personalized one from a financial aid officer asking for specific info, all documents were received and satisfied. Accepted with an 1880 SAT.

Today I got another automated email from Dartmouth – just sharing for next year’s speculators about the mysterious email/acceptance link. I never got a personalized email, and my CSS/FAFSA was satisfied and all of my other things were “waived”. My automated email now begins with “Congratulations on your admission to Dartmouth…” and continues to let me know my application for FA is incomplete (which we know, waiting on info to be able to file).

Got accepted. CSS and Income Statements were shown as satisfied. The latter changes to satisfied on 19th March. Looks like the financial aid statuses do allude to the final decision.
