Should they have gotten it by now?

It is empty under "test credits" on opus.

My AP Score Report indicates that AP grades have been sent to Emory.

Thanks in advance

You would know Emory got the AP score when it is shown on the things to do list tab on the OPUS thing.

If it makes you feel better, I sent my AP score report TWICE and they have yet to receive it. For some reason, Emory’s mail department isn’t par with its caliber. (They lost my high school transcript three times this year and I had to send my summer school transcripts to three different mailing addresses to finally get it the registrar.)

I’d bring a copy of my own (don’t open the envelope) and give it to them on the first day.

lol nevermind.

I just got an email to select 32 AP credits out of my 40 AP credits…

Now I got more pondering to do

I just got an email asking me to select “8 exams * wish to put on for credit” because the rest will be “listed for placement.” What does this mean? And it also said something about GERs being fulfilled and whatnot… ??? Can someone help please? Thank you (:

the reason they are telling you to select 8 exams (well 7 if one of the ones you choose is calc bc since that counts as 8 credits itself) is because emory has a 32 transfer credit hour limit. the “listed for placement” means that they will still be valid to count towards taking higher level classes (i.e. if you did not choose to accept credit for a calc ab test, you could still take calc 112 at emory which has a prerequisite of ap calc ab credit or calc 111)

The GERs will only be fulfilled through the tests that you chose to count to transfer in - what that means is that you have to leave off a, say biology credit, because that pushes you over 32 credit hours, you will not get the lab science credit unless you have another class (ap chem, ap physics) that satisfies that requirement that you did transfer in.

Thank you so much for your helpful answer!
I have one final question. Between the AP Eng Lit & Eng Lang exams, does it matter which exam I choose to transfer credit for? The AP course equivalencies for Fall 2010 says

English Lang/Comp 4 English 101 Area II (FWRT) -Total I
English Lit/Comp 4 English 181 or Lit 110 Area II (FWRT) -Total I

but just by looking at this, I can’t decide if choosing one will be more beneficial than choosing the other.

Nope, theres no difference at all - both get you out of freshmen english, and thats it!

I’m having problems with Emory and AP Scores as well, only my 11th grade exams showed up. Who can I call/email to solve my problems? Collegeboard got my last name wrong with one of my Score Reports, and the other one I just sent (this year’s, says expected date of college entrance is Fall 11 though…).

Can I just show the score reports / score report receipts to the Registrar at Emory or something and make it easier >.>

Definitely call the office for undergraduate education and ask them how to solve this problem.
