<p>I qualify for Cal Grant A as an incoming freshman, but the gift aid (is that what it is called?) is not listed on my Zot Account or on My Aid Award at the financial aid site. How and when do I receive this grant?</p>

<p>Yes, I filed a FAFSA and was not qualified for Pell Grant.</p>
<p>Okay, did your HS submit your verified Cal Grant GPA; otherwise, you were supposed to submit a paper GPA verification form.</p>

<p>My high school submitted my GPA on time.</p>
<p>Someone just told me that UCI will send me a disbursement after I pay my tuition fees in the middle of the quarter, so I think I’ve found my answer.</p>
