Receiving SAT/ACT scores

<p>Hi...
So if I send my ACT/SAT scores to colleges by Jan 1, but decide to retake ACT/SAT in Jan/Feb to send, then will they look at these new scores? Or since they received the old scores on time, will they use that? It's also possible that they receive my score after their decision has made, right? So is there any way to notify them that I plan to retake and please use the new score?</p>

<p>There’s a spot on the common app that notifies them that you’re retaking a test.</p>

<p>If you have already sent in your common app to all of your schools, then you can email your admissions officers that you’ll be taking it again.</p>
