When I took the ACT in April there was a trick after a few weeks to access scores early. When is this going to happen? Does this still work?

Yes it still works and the earliest scores will be available approximately one week from today. See the thread I created here:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/act-preparation/1516805-official-june-act-score-thread-now-available.html

Thanks for the quick reply :)

You can use this: co.nf;

Someone on CC created it to simplify the process.

All credit goes to NSpire for making that by the way. :)

Yep, as Nova posted, use this tool to do the glitch automagically: [Early ACT Score Checker](http://earlyactscore.co.nf/)

I’ll be updating it soon, possibly even tonight. Might make it look a bit nicer and maybe re-code the glitching part of it as well. Still seems to work though, either way.

Thanks RS! :P

FWIW, this trick never worked for my son, despite following the exact directions.

Thanks, Nspire. I couldn’t remember your name to give you proper credit :).

when will we be able to see our scores, Nspire?

I remember NSpire did that on the last test

No problem, thanks Nova!

Here’s some general time periods for the last ACT. Test day was June 8th.

Early batch: June 20th (12 days after testing)
Me personally: June 22nd (14 days after testing, checked after 1am CST)
Major batch: June 24th (16 days after testing)

It’s going to be hit or miss. If I had to put a time frame on it, I would say the glitch will beginning working somewhere between October 3rd and October 7th.

So… at the absolute earliest, you’re looking at a week and five days from now if you’re lucky. If not, probably looking at 2-4 days after that… roughly two weeks or so.

How about for no writing?

No writing, you probably have a better shot at being 12-14 days after testing rather than the 16 that most people had. However, like I said, it’s really hit or miss. Sometimes they post just the multiple choice answers, thus someone who took writing could get their scores in one of the earlier groups. Not sure how they get uploaded, but it was pretty sporadic last time.

I didn’t take writing last time and had mine pop up 14 days after the test date. I took it at the same institution this time, so I’m assuming it’ll be similar. That’d put us at October 5th or so, with my case anyway. Not sure if they upload scores over the weekend though, haha.

Ah okay, thanks Nspire!

You bet! Just keep checking, especially as the time becomes closer.

Nspire, what are you basing this off? June 8th was a Saturday and scores became available on the 17th (Monday), not the 20th. The early batch came 8-9 days after the test date, not 12. Scores for September’s ACT will start appearing on September 30th, the Monday after this coming Monday.

Hm, I looked back at the topic and only went back to the 20th. I assumed that was when the early-bird batch was, but in that case - yes, it would be 9 days. Seemed like a solid majority came on the 20th, 22nd, and 24th. Guess there were some on the 17th too, oops.

Should probably look it up on the ACT website to see which days scores are generally uploaded. I thought it was normally Wednesdays and Fridays, but I’d have to look back and see if that was consistent with any of the scores that came out early last time.

Seems like the Midwest gets their scores the earliest. My June and February scores were uploaded very quickly compared to some people who had to wait weeks.

When are the scores officially available for act+writing?

Good post…thanks!
