Are the decisions that have been released so far just for scholarship nominees and if so does anyone know when will the next decisions be made

I am not sure of anything... does anyone have any idea if the acceptances already sent are the ONLY scholarship offers? Is there a chance we might get offers still?

They should be for scholarship candidates only...the non-scholarship people should start receiving their decisions in March.

redski59, I was accepted, but i didn't receive any information about going to LA and interviewing... was I supposed to get this? should i be expecting this?

^ I haven't gotten mine either, but I heard of only one person getting theirs so far. Maybe we'll get ours tomorrow :)

i got the scholarship info today:) when i came home early from school(i had a final today..:(,, AP Physics, which i think i totally failed...).
but i was so happy! trustee finalist!!!
but I'm still worried about how many ppl i will have to compete against though.....

Has anyone checked their application status on discover usc website... so i checked and it showed that all of my forms have been reviewed... what does that mean? Does that mean that they have completely finished looking at my application!? I'm so confused... is anyone else in the same situation as me?

PS: I applied to fine arts and i know that they have to give admissions a recommendation, so maybe that's what they're waiting on? I have noo idea!

juicygal2001:

what website did u go to to check ur app status? i never heard of any website that usc had to do so.

thanks! :)

https://sig.usc.edu/login.cfm? (mine has never worked... it says they have not received n e thing from me. I have e-mailed them about this several times, and they haven't done n e thing. But, I was still accepted)

^ I never heard of that site either....

WOW that is so interesting.
ive never seen that site in my life.
oh well :-/ im just nervous about this " wave of scholarship notification" thing.
and to think w/o cc- i'd actually be stress free haha

ps: congrats smilefrinends...thats amazing <3

Juicy gal..... yes it means your application has ben reviewed. Expect a decision soon. I called the admissions about that same section, because it said nothing had been documented yet. When I called, the admin lady told me that it was because I have not received a decision yet. Then i slipped in the question ... "so is that a good thing or bad thing?" then she answered that it was probably better because if I had been an outright, no chance, then I would have already had something saying it was documented. She also confirmed that they mail out in "floods" as she called them. I am pretty sure they hold back rejections until later than February.

how do you log onto discover usc?

So that could be bad for me. If I don't recieve anything soon then I might be flat out rejected.... oh no..

I applied to fine arts though so I am wondering if admissions may have already reviewed my app and is waiting for the recommendation from fine arts.

If anyone knows...
Do they review all of the scholarship deadline apps in February, and do they always indicate that they've looked at your app in the Discover USC thing?

Thanks.

Edit: Also, I just received my report card, and I was thinking of submitting that mid-year report online. But if I do that, do you will they be forced to wait to review my app (if they were going to review it in February anyway) until the copy of my report card arrives in the mail?

i can't log on to discover usc... is anyone else having that problem?

i can't either.

good... so i'm not the only one. i was freaking out. i thought there might have been a mess up with my application or something... twilightdarling, have you heard back from usc yet?

Were we supposed to have received an ID after submitting our applications? i wonder if i submitted mine before this was set up.. i completed my usc ap in the beginning of november.
