With the many impacts of this recent decision about abortion, and Clarence Thomas listing other key decisions he wants reversed, how do universities in blue states feel about students in red states wanting to transfer because of all of this? I know that, normally, bringing up politics or anything negative in a transfer application is taboo. In this case, with a well-crafted essay, would this be considered an acceptable reason to transfer?

too broad a brush- for a start, the colleges and universities within any given state are not homogenous.
The importance of ‘why’ you want to transfer from your current college is secondary to ‘why’ you want to transfer to their college.
