well my appeal pulled through and i was admitted to ucla for fall 2009. i just found out yesterday and the date on the application is june 24th meaning that is when they released it i guess.

however, i had a few questions which i wanted to ask them (mostly in regards to housing and the financial aid status which i cannot view for some reason) but their regular number is not working. it says the office closed on june 12th

basically what i am asking is does anybody know what other number i can try to get in touch with them? because i really need to find out if i am guaranteed housing among other things

I’m pretty sure you’re not guaranteed housing because you’re an appeal admit.
But you can still apply and try to get housing so just go call the housing dep. or contact them via email or something.

Campus Operator
310-825-4321
[straight from the website]
if that doesnt work i have a number for fsp(freshman summer program) 310-206-1571-it’s not what you need but they WILL answer and then you can ask for admissions number or any others you want =]

Congratulations on winning your appeal!!! that is the hardest thing to do, welcome to the bruin family ^-^

thanks for the help

Hooray! Congrats :D

Go to the housing site from MyUCLA and there is a load of info, e-mail, AskHousing, phone numbers, etc…Appeal admits are not guaranteed housing it says but you can find out how to apply for the wait list. Also, don’t forget to sign up for Orientation and send in the Bruincard stuff. You also need to get the first part of the Alcohol Education program done prior to Orientation (approx 2-3 hours). Good luck with everything! Congrats!
