<p>I know of several people who were enrolled at duke but got off Harvard's waitlist, and one of my classmates is most likely getting rescinded (caught with drugs 2 days before graduation.. long story), so expect there to be at least some activity into mid june.</p>

<p>I got this email in my mailbox yesterday. Congratulations! If you are still interested in Duke, we would love to
offer you a place in the Class of 2012.</p>
<p>Of course I don't expect that you'll be able to reply accepting or
declining this offer right away, but I would appreciate it if you could
please respond to let us know whether you'd like to consider coming to
Duke. If you would, we'd be glad to send you an official admissions
package on Monday, after which you'll have two weeks to consider the offer

<p>Any word on FinAid? I'm paying very little to attend Emory, so the amount Duke is giving to wait-listers is very crucial in my decision.</p>
<p>when the dean called me, he said that the financial aid office was going to send me an email around wednesday or thursday with my aid package.</p>

<p>they gave 100% need-based to my friends who got in RD and ED (i.e their EFC was 30k, they gave around 20k). Don't know about waitlistees</p>
<p>but my EFC is around 14k.. and I know that they won't give merit scholarships to waitlistees. but basically, I hope it'll be around my EFC</p>
<p>hmm... i didn't get stuff on aid yet... but, when is student orientation and everything? Did I miss anything beside housing?</p>
<p>I think that we also missed the Focus registration. But they should give us extra time, since some of us just found out (May 30!)</p>
<p>Oak, housing is due TODAY (June 6), but I'm sure they will note your circumstances. Orientation and stuff is not til August, I think.</p>
