<p>A guy in one of my classes received a LL in Dec and was deferred. He had good grades and sat scores but the unique thing about him was he had like 900 hours of comm service. I was like ***</p>
<p>I got a LL (don't know when, seeing how I was on vacation and had a pile of mail waiting for me when I got back), and I got accepted on Saturday :)</p>
<p>friend was denied after ll but i have a feeling that after looking further into some of his recs, some things did not add up. i noticed that dates changed on the unc page and think that all those that had a nov date and it stayed nov we either in or rejected flat out. those with a beginning date of nov and it changed later we deferred. makes sense?</p>
<p>so for all of you that read this next year, that might be a key to knowing if you are deferred. they read it once and maybe leave it to the group discussion before deciding?</p>
<p>LL on the day after Thanksgiving and accepted last Friday.</p>
