Recommend colleges for me

I'll be a senior this year and want to major in Chemical Engineering, maybe with a biology minor. 33 ACT, 2240 SAT (660 CR, 790 M, 790 W), 4.0 GPA

I live in Colorado and prefer colder climates, definitely not opposed to going out of state. I want to go where I will most likely qualify for merit scholarships, but is still a good school. Please don't refer me to the "Automatic Full Ride/Tuition" thread, I've already seen it.

Where I intend to apply:
Colorado School of Mines
University of Colorado Boulder
University of Minnesota
Northeastern University

Thanks!

Minnesota
Wisconsin
Illinois
Delaware
Purdue
Michigan
Penn State
Northwestern
Carnegie Mellon
NC State

You must not have seen the partial scholarships thread.

Check out UWashington

Yea, check out UWashington!

@Quinn Thanks, I’ve already decided against Penn State, CMU, and Michigan for various reasons, but I’ll be sure to look into Illinois, Wisconsin, and some of the others.

@teskeyben No I have not seen that one, thanks!

@Seattle and Cxavier, I’ve heard UWashington gives very little merit aid to OOS, which is disappointing because I love Seattle.

Use the Kiplinger’s tables to find schools that are generous with merit aid -
[Kiplinger’s Best Values in Private Colleges-Kiplinger](http://www.kiplinger.com/tool/college/T014-S001-kiplinger-s-best-values-in-private-colleges/index.php)

Consider BU, WPI, RPI, U.Rochester, Case Western

Daughter is headed off to UMinn next month for ChemE. Very good program and she fell in love with the campus. We’d visited PSU, Wisconsin, Princeton, MIT, UT-Austin, Texas A/M and when she got on campus of the “U” she felt at home.

Case Western
Ohio State
