I am a male and will be a senior this fall at a Catholic High School in Iowa.

GPA: 3.9 weighted (with an upward trend since freshmen year)
: 2 AP and numerous advanced classes
ACT: 30
SAT: I don't plan on taking
ECs: Not too many, I play soccer and have done community service projects as required by my school

What I'm looking for:
I'll go anywhere in the country except Alaska, Utah, Idaho, Mississippi, Hawaii, and New Mexico. I want a school with Divison 1 Athletics; and most importantly, I want the school to be solid in Sociology and/or Sports Management. Ignore cost/tuition at this point.

If any of you could give me matches, reaches, and safeties, that'd be awesome. Thanks in advanced!

Well, Notre Dame is the obvious choice here.

Sports Management is a tricky major, though, I know many no-prestige schools like Bowling Green in Ohio have great programs. Myabe there’s a forumer here with more expertise in that area…

You might want to look into the University of Miami. I have friends in the sports-medicine and sports-management program and they all love it… Not sure how the rankings for the programs are though. Also not sure if you would be a shoe in, but you could try.

[University of Miami](http://www.miami.edu) - the sports management is under the college of arts and sciences based under education.

Check out the University of Virginia, an excellent D-1 school that is also a top 25 school in terms of academics. The students have started a blog to showcase the school to those who might not be familiar with it…check it out!
