Recommend me some schools please?

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread but I didn't know where else to post it.
Can anyone recommend me some good SAFETY schools with these stats?
ACT:34
SAT: 2160

Average Ec's with some volunteer hours and some work experience. Essays will probably be decent but not too stellar.

I'm looking to major in Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical if BME is unavailable.
Thanks!

definitely johns hopkins, and don’t send your sats, just act

return the favor

Johns Hopkins is definitely NOT A SAFETY for you; it might not even be a match if you don’t have a good gpa.

Go ahead and apply to your state flagship since it will probably have a decent engineering program (at least in mechanical) and be quite cheap, hopefully easy to enter as well.

I visited Purdue recently and learned they have a pretty good engineering program (I didn’t just hear this from the school itself) and that it is relatively easy to gain entrance, especially for your if you have a decent gpa. Bonus points if you live in Indiana, but it’s a good school that’s worth looking into.

Errrr, BME @ Hopkins is a real chopping block. There’s always a chance that you could get in, but it’s DEFINITELY no safety. In any case,

Purdue is seconded, Utah apparently has a good one as does UT Austin
Wisconsin @ Madison
Rutgers & Pitt

That’s all I can think of ATM.

OP here, I have a 98.8 weighted GPA with a consistent upward trend. Also ap scholar with distinction.
I live in Texas and have already been accepted to A&M but not UT Austin yet. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

Bumpitybumpbump

You should get into Cockrell.

JHU: Match

John Hopkins is a possibility, but do keep in mind that biomedical engineering is very hard to get into at that university. There’s a reason that it’s ranked #1 in BME. But still, I think it could be a match depending on your GPA. Definitely send in that ACT instead of the SAT.

UWash and Case Western maybe? Your ACT scores are above the average there I believe.

WUSTL if it has either one.

You have alot of options for safeties. I’m not too sure about that specific program so youd need to double check.
