Recommend music student organizations

<p>Hi there,</p>

<p>I'm an incoming freshman starting this Fall and I'm looking to join some student organizations which are music-related.</p>

<p>I play the guitar pretty well, and I can play almost all genres. I'd certainly like to be in a band, but I also want to be in some 'official' student organizations. More than just playing music, I'm really interested in organizing events.</p>

<p>Any suggestions as to some good organizations that would be of interest to me?</p>

<p>Hey, I’m interested in this too! I play the piano, not that keen on joining a band for now, but either an orchestra or musical or some organisations that occasionally hold workshops for me to learn something new. :)</p>

<p>You may want to stop by the School of Music Theatre & Dance on North Campus (Moore Bldg) and either speak with an advisor & get suggestions or just scan the bulletin boards.</p>
