What kind of school are you interested in? Size, location, major, etc. What are your financial considerations?

Oops! Thanks for asking. I edited it.

Really you could apply anywhere. Your stats put you amongst the most competitive applicants for whom HYPS and other top schools are all some sort of reach. I would recommend applying to three reaches, three matches, and three safeties. For reaches choose two or three schools most like your dreams school (which is the one I assume turned you down–and if it’s a HYPS-like school, it would have turned down the vast majority of applicants, so don’t let that get you down) where your gpa and test scores put you in the bottom half of the applicant pool, choose three competitive schools where your gpa and test scores put you solidly in the middle of the pack, and choose three where you’re in the top 25th percentile of students. I realize this is pretty vague, but without knowing what kind of vibe you’re looking for it’s kind of hard to make recommendations. What about: Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, MIT, Cal Tech, JHU, Georgetown, Tufts, UC San Diego, UC San Francisco, George Washington, American University?

Thank you :]
