Recommendation for Andrew Jackson.

My APUSH hw is to write a 2-3 page recommendation for Andrew Jackson to the Admissions Office Committee. I must discuss his principles of majority rule and his belief in the supremacy of state's rights through the recharting of the national bank, the nullification controversy and the removal of Native Americans. Most of all, we must be creative. Can you guys read my introduction and tell me what you think? (perhaps fix some stuff up.) Thanks.

Dear Admissions Office Committee:
Recently in my Advanced Placement U.S. History class, Andrew Jackson announced to the class that he had a dream of becoming the president of the United States. No one doubted him, not even me, because he was a leader in every form amongst his peers. Jackson has complete passion in politics, as I had perceived when he was in my class. Two years later, as I am writing this recommendation, his dream has come true. As the seventh president of the United States, Jackson has attempted to reform this government and to create a democratic society in which the widespread belief in equality is present. Together, Jackson's principles of majority rule and his belief in the supremacy of state's rights are revealed through his chartering of the national bank, the nullification controversy, and the removal of Native Americans, all of which has occured in the past year and still progressing. Over time, such principles dictate his passion.

"The bank I will kill it!!" I'm pretty sure Jackson was crazy, but the intro sounds good.
