would anyone like to recommend a minor for an engineering student? i've thought about business or a foreign language. usc, my 1st choice, offers an engineering technology minor that focuses on marketing new technology. would you recommend a specific language for a minor? i'm thinking about japanese/korean/chinese but i'm worried about the difficulty (i'm white). i'm very good with words and languages, but i'm worried that learning such a difficult language will take away from my focus on engineering.

how about underwater basket weaving

nah, i'm more of a ceramics person.

Homer no function beer well without.

I say go ahead with a Foreign Language--an engineer who can speak multiple languages is always a strong candidate.

Other minors such as Math, Business or English might be good for you academically but in the job market they don't necessary entitle you to added benefits--the engineering degree is what earns you the actual job.

I'm minoring in beer drinking.

What's your GPA, gstein?
