I was having trouble deciding who to get college recommendation letters from, since I am in a dual-credit program where I take all my classes at a local college to work toward my Computer Science Major in High School. I want to apply to schools like Stanford, Harvard, and Princeton, but they require recommendations from teachers from academic subjects. I am already getting a recommendation from one of my English teachers who knows me well, but I need a second one. My Computer Science professor knows me very well and could write me a very good recommendation, but is Computer Science considered an academic subject? If it helps, for my high school, my Computer Science classes are considered electives but for my Associate in Arts and Sciences, it's counted under "Quantitative or Symbolic Reasoning Skills."</p>
