<p>So I have already asked my AP Chem teacher to write me a letter of rec, and I was about to ask my CC Calculus teacher to write me one when I realized that to apply to MIT, I need a letter of rec from a humanities teacher.</p>
<p>Due to my passion with science, I put off AP Gov and AP Econ until this year, so I don't feel like I will know those teachers well enough for them to write me a rec. As well, I took US History and Spanish at city college. Leaving me with one choice - my junior year English teacher.</p>
<p>However, I don't feel like I was his favorite student. Would it be weird if I asked him to write me a letter of rec only for those schools that require a humanities teacher?</p>
