Recommendation Letter Dilemma

<p>Hey, </p>

<p>I will be applying for a transfer for fall 2010. </p>

<p>I will be applying as a biology major, so I thought I would get a rec. from this year's orgo prof. and last year's bio. prof. </p>

<p>But the thing is, I performed much better last year first semester (A) than the second semester (B+), but the profs were different for each semester. </p>

<p>Should I get a rec. from a prof who would remember me better (second semester) or from a prof from the first semester? </p>

<p>the one who knows you better. they’re writing about your character and your qualities. the grades will speak for themselves on your transcript, but you want your prof to be able to write about things that the rest of your app can’t say.</p>
