If a university doesn’t specifically require letters from both a math/science teacher and a humanities teacher, then is it okay to have both my letters be from humanities teachers (history and english)? Or would it still be better to have one from a science/math teacher to show you’re diverse (not quite sure how to word it but you get the idea)?
I think it’s fine. I got mine from my APUSH teacher and my Spanish teacher. I would pick the teachers that you feel can say the best things about you (and maybe consider choosing a math/science teacher if you want to do engineering or science in college), but I don’t think it matters significantly.
I’m getting mine from my US teacher who will also be my Pysch teacher this year. Lot of my friends interested in non math or science frills are asking two humaties teachers. How well they know you is more important than the subject they teach. Unless of course there is a requirement
