If I want to get a third recommendation letter in addition to two teacher’s recommendation letters, how would I send that to schools? I have a recommendation letter from a coach. Would he send the letter to the schools I am applying to or would he need to send it to me and I would send it to the schools.

I am just wondering how this works, since teacher recommendation letters are confidential I heard and sent by the school. Also if students send additional recommendation letters themselves, it would seem weird since it could be fake or something.

Yes it would seem fake. Ask your teacher to send through his/her email to the schools. If you re using the Commonapp you can see the requirements for each schools. some ask for 2, allow 3,4 some dont ask for but still allow, but some others limit to 2 or 3 sth. so it depends on the school you re applying to. to send them you only need to attach files on commonapp website

I dont think you understand @kurmassie121 . The school sends out teacher recs. I am wondering about supplement letters from coaches or your pastor or whatever.
