<p>MIT wants a recommendation letter from a humanities/social science teacher. would my chorus teacher count?</p>
<p>What about a History or English teacher. If you are thinking MIT you have good grades in these subjects. Unless there is something really special about chorus.</p>
<p>i mean i did good in my history and english classes, but i dont think i did anything special that will be noteworthy in the recommendation letter other than “oh he’s a good kid” which i expect most recommendation letters will have if ur applying to MIT. but for chorus, i did make alternate for all state and im pretty close with my chorus teacher</p>
