<p>Anyone know if its a big deal if you apply as a science major (i.e. Neurobio) and get a recommendation from a teacher who doesn't teach science, but a science-related course (cognitive science/linguistics)? (Teacher is An Assitant Principal of School's Language department btw) The recommendation includes information about his cogsci course and my interest in neuro</p>
<p>Colleges will sometimes tell you what teachers they want the recommendation(s) from. If they don’t specify, I’d say that’s completely acceptable. Even if they do specify science, I think that would be fine actually.</p>
