My counselor has already submitted my school report on 11/4/2013. But today he informed me that he could not review one of my transcripts, which failed to load with the PDF viewer. Also, oddly enough, Common Application files it as uploaded on today, 11/7/2013, and the pdf size is 16mb, exceeding the original pdf size of only 300kb. Since I study in an International school, my counselor has no experience in this. Will my transcript be okay?

The only way to know for sure is to contact the admissions office at the colleges where it has been submitted to verify receipt of all your transcripts.

This year common app is so annoying. Anyway, if anyone meet the same program when previewing the pdf you uploaded, I have found the solution. By converting your pdf to word, then format the picture to reduce to the file size to under 500Kb, you will be able to dodge the pdf-pdf trap hole that we found ourselves in :<
Gluck to you guys.

c0llagen, are your counselor and teachers familiar with English ? Mine are not. What do you suggest ?

If they aren’t, ask them to write about you in your native language, maybe not in a full recommendation letter but only the ideas. Then help them translate it into English.
Good luck to you then :3
