Does my teacher recommendation need to be submitted by my teacher to meet the November 1st deadline? Or is it okay if I added her online and she has not completed my rec yet. She started it but hasn't completed it.

Thanks

bump! Does anybody have an answer to this?

I’m not sure I understand your question…of course your teacher has to submit it! Call her tonight (if you have her number) or email her asking if she has completed the letter yet.

A lot of colleges have a three day grace period for high school teachers/secondary school report.

It is unlikely the student will have his/her teacher’s cell phone number…

I “think” it’s supposed to postmarked by tomorrow. But late teacher recommendations are typically okay, since they know that isn’t under your control.

I called the office about financial aid and the lady told me very clearly that anything not submitted by the student him or herself (ie, financial statements, teacher/counselor reccs, etc.) do not “need” to be submitted before the deadline. Hope that helps =) and good luck!

Alright thanks guys.

I send her an email letting her know that it has to be done asap.
