My recommender is planning on sending my recommendation letter by mail. However, from the website it seems UW-Madison wants everything online. Does anyone know if they would still accept the mailed letter? I already submitted my common application by the early deadline.
From their website (last paragraph of #6) it gives the option of doing either online, regular mail or Naviance. Here are the specific directions which, hopefully, you have shared with your recommender:
“If you apply using the UW System Application, your recommender can use our online recommendation form. Those who apply using the Common Application should request a recommendation through that system. Recommendations that are mailed to our office must include your full name, birth date, and campus ID number (if known). Additionally, letters of recommendation from a school staff member may also be sent through Naviance.”
